FAQ

How much is the cost of shipping?

Within the UK,  the cost of shipping is £6 for a single book and £1.50 for each additional copy. For large orders please contact us at   [email protected].

Outside of the UK, the cost of shipping is £13.50 per individual book.

Express shipping is currently unavailable.


When will my book arrive?

If you have made a pre-order: the book was published on 20th June 2015 and all pre-orders have now been dispatched in the sequence they were ordered in.

If you have ordered after the book has published: 

Within the UK,  normal delivery will take up to 5 working days. The book will be sent by courier and will be delivered during normal working hours Monday to Friday, so please ideally provide an address that will be able to take receipt of the delivery at this time of day. If your book has not arrived within 5 working days of the date you placed the order then please contact us with your delivery address details and we will contact the distributor to track the order.

Outside the UK, dependant on your location, normal delivery will take up to 10 working days. The book will be sent via courier to your country and then enter the normal postage system. If your book has not arrived within 10 working days then please contact us with your delivery address details and we will double check that it was dispatched correctly. However please note the distributor will only be able to track the delivery to the point of entry to your country.

How will i know if my order has been received and is being processed?

Once you have completed your order, you will receive an email stating we have received your order and payment.


Can I buy a book as a gift?

Yes - please enter the address of the recipient as the shipping address. When entering your payment details, you will be asked separately for your billing postcode.


Can I buy this book anywhere else?

This book is now available at the National Theatre Bookshop on the Southbank in London.


Can I cancel or return my order and get a refund?

Once books have been dispatched, to get a refund you must contact us within 14 days of receiving the goods (unless the goods are faulty and then you have 30 days). You then have 14 days to return the goods, undamaged. We will then issue your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned book.


What do I do if my book is delivered damaged?

There may be some white paper specks on some pages of your book - this may happen as part of the manufacturing process and is not a fault. To remove them, wipe the page with a soft lint free cloth.

If you have any other issues, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of the order at [email protected].

If possible please send us photos of the damage so we can process your enquiry as efficiently as possible.


Will I be refunded any postage costs?

We'll refund your return costs, if:

- You received an incorrect item, or

- You received a damaged item, or

- You received a defective item.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept visa, master card and american express.

What will you do with my data?

Your order details will be passed on to the distributor, but will not be used for any other purpose. We will not pass your data on to any other parties or add you to any mailing lists.
